A Chinese company, Unipath, has launched a household robot that is now in real-home use. It can wake users up on time, operate home appliances, organize storage spaces, and even cook meals automatically.

I don’t want it to look like a humanoid – just make it a rectangle with arms, the less person like it looks, the better

    4. Might as well just pay the person piloting it to do it in person, would be faster.

If it says ‘time to wake up’ one more time, we’re throwing hands.

All for the low low price of any privacy you thought you had! If you talk bad about the party then it’s absolutely reporting you.

NGL i’m going to need something when i’m old because i’m on track to be a “solo/childness elder” and if these are affordable it will save me alot of misery

    8. The reason there are a hundred cuts in the video is because its a load of bullshit. Sped up ×10 because the actual robot is super slow, and every cut is a human doing the parts it cannot do. Besides, this is a remote controlled robot.

TBH I see this being the norm fairly quickly. Having the ability to have it go mow the lawn or do outside chores for you, taking care of household things like this. I tell everyone its happening quicker than they think.

Kids raised by robots and not living parents can’t go wrong short term or long term right? Right!?! SMH.

    11. Never have to scroll too far for my daily dose of Chinese propaganda. Thanks, this specific sub!

    12. Chinese company has made a demo video. That’s it. There is nothing to see here at all

    13. That’s all I need. My wife waking me up at 5am because the robot fell down the stairs again.

    14. That’s all well and good, but will it also dish out emotional damage and disappointment that you didn’t get an A ***plus***?
